Our Mullets Mean More – Growing for Those We’ve Lost & Those Still Fighting

This April, our boys aren’t just growing mullets — they’re growing them with purpose & dressing them up!
Mental health awareness is deeply personal for our family.
We live alongside mental illness every single day, supporting multiple immediate family members through their battles. We’ve also experienced the unimaginable heartbreak of losing three cousins to suicide.
These mullets represent love, remembrance, resilience and hope. The boys are proudly growing and dressing them up to spark conversations, raise funds, and remind people that no one should suffer in silence.
If even one conversation starts because of their hair, if even one person feels seen or supported, then it’s worth it.
We’re doing this for those we’ve lost, and for those still fighting.
I'm growing my mullet this April for Black Dog Institute's Mullets for Mental Health.
1 in 5 Australians will experience mental illness in their lifetime. Over 75% of mental health problems occur before the age of 25.
My mullet and funds raised will help us drive real change and fund ground-breaking mental health research. This will put digital services and education into the hands of people who need it the most.
It would mean a lot to me if you donated to support my mullet.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
