The following consents and acknowledgements are given by me both personally for and on behalf of the Participant as their Parent or Guardian:

I acknowledge that:

the Participant is or above 8 years of age and the Participant will not receive a wage, commission or fee for participating in the Event.

the Participant will be appropriately supervised throughout the Event, and will be provided adequate food and drink to sustain them throughout the Event.

the Participant is not permitted to enter a private dwelling while soliciting door-to-door or solicit from a person who is occupying a motor vehicle.

the Participant will not participate in the Event:

• for more than 4 hours on a school day;
• for more than 6 hours on a non-school day;
• for more than 5 days per week; or
• on a day other than a school day if the following day is a school day—finish participating in the Event later than 8.30 pm.

where participation of the Event takes place outdoors, the Participant will not

• start participating before sunrise or 6:30 am, whichever is later; or
• finish participating later than sunset or 6.00 pm, whichever is the earlier.

the Participant will be taken home by me or another adult authorised by me after the Participant finishes participating in the Event, unless authorised by law. 

I agree that the Participant and I will comply with the BDI Fundraising Guidelines.

By signing below, I authorise my child to participate in the Event as a fundraiser.
