When I was in Year 12, one of my best mates committed suicide. It didn’t feel real, and I couldn’t understand it. It rocked my world, and it still feels weird today that he’s not here. The suffering that people go through is silent. It affects so many people, even those you think it couldn’t.
I'm growing my mullet this April for Black Dog Institute's Mullets for Mental Health.
1 in 5 Australians will experience mental illness in their lifetime. Over 75% of mental health problems occur before the age of 25.
My mullet and funds raised will help us drive real change and fund ground-breaking mental health research. This will put digital services and education into the hands of people who need it the most.
