Support my mullet and CRUSH the black dog

Hey guys! Just a little about me and the cause. 
Mental health is something I’m deeply passionate about, not just as a concept, but in the profession I practice every day. I’m an Enrolled Mental Health Nurse with Metro South Health, supporting consumers and their families as they work toward recovery. I’m also studying my Bachelor of Nursing at Griffith University, and when I’m not on the ward or at uni, you’ll usually find me out on the soccer field.
This April, I’m taking part in the Black Dog Institute’s Mullets for Mental Health campaign, and yes… that means I’m growing a mullet for a cause that genuinely matters to me.
1 in 5 Australians will experience mental illness, and most mental health challenges begin before the age of 25. These aren’t just statistics to me, they represent the people I care for, the families I support, and the community I’m proud to stand with.
By growing this mullet, I’m raising funds to support ground‑breaking mental health research, helping deliver digital tools, education, and support services to Australians who need them most.
And here’s my commitment:
If I reach my goal of $1,000, I’ll keep and continue to grow the mullet for the rest of the year!
I’ll also be posting monthly updates so you can follow the mullet’s journey, every stage, every awkward phase, every triumph.
