Support my mullet to help prevent suicide.
I'm growing my mullet this April for Black Dog Institute's Mullets for Mental Health.
A lot of you will know me as a pretty laid back happy sorta bloke, but the last 4 months has really tested me and my family. I wouldn’t usually do fundraisers but I wanna try something different and have a crack at it!
For those that don’t know a whole lot about me well I’ll give ya quick run down!
My names Hayden Matton, I’m a dad to a 3 year old little champ named Laiken! I love anything to do with wheels or motors. (Even more so if it has both) ;). When I’m not at home with my family or in the garage tinkering, I’m usually operating a haul truck at Isaac Downs Mine close to Moranbah where I have also opted to be a Mental Health First Aider.
As anyone close to me knows I’m already a big advocate of mental health. I have had my own struggles in the past and probably will in the future. But I’d like to atleast try to help make the difference for atleast a couple other people who are not fortunate enough to have the love and support that I got when times got tough.
If you made it this far thanks for even taking your time to read this. I hope you want to make as much of a difference as I do. Even if you don’t donate a like or a share will got a long way.
Peace✌️
#Youneverwalkalone
1 in 5 Australians will experience mental illness in their lifetime. Over 75% of mental health problems occur before the age of 25.
My mullet and funds raised will help us drive real change and fund ground-breaking mental health research. This will put digital services and education into the hands of people who need it the most.
It would mean a lot to me if you donated to support my mullet.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
My Impact
This year I have helped provide
88
people with suicidal thoughts help when they need it most.
