Support my mullet to help prevent suicide

I'm growing my mullet this April for Black Dog Institute's Mullets for Mental Health.

1 in 5 Australians will experience mental illness in their lifetime. Over 75% of mental health problems occur before the age of 25.

My mullet and funds raised will help us drive real change and fund ground-breaking mental health research. This will put digital services and education into the hands of people who need it the most.

It would mean a lot to me if you donated to support my mullet.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

The best haircut I've ever had?

Tuesday 10th Mar
Honestly, I was nervous getting my first ever mullet haircut at the age of thirty-*cough*, but I can't believe I haven't rocked this sooner.

For Emily

Saturday 28th Feb

Come on a journey with me as I rock my first ever mullet at the age of 32 for mental health in Australia. You know I think it's already growing on me. No cuts from now until April 30th!

Last year the world lost one of its brightest lights. Wise beyond her years, she had a presence and a smile that could light up a room. She also lived with debilitating mental illness that she struggled through every day, although most would not have noticed. She was disciplined and held herself to the highest standards, being a bit of a perfectionist but also an absolute fashionista with a natural eye and love for aesthetic beauty in everything. Her room is still the most effortlessly but deeply personalised I've seen, it was a vibe and so was she when she was in it.

She made you feel at home, if you were in her circle she was completely open and genuine, even if that meant some of the most biting criticism I've ever heard. She was special in that authenticity with immovable principles, values, and ethics. On the outside she projected dark fairy, in reality she was a staunch rule follower, those she agreed with of course, and a goody two shoes, even teachers pet at times. She worked seriously, listened intently, spoke wisely, and didn't give a f**k what anybody else thought.

Her own worst enemy wasn't outside, it was in her mind.

I'm dedicating this fundraiser to the late Emily Parsonson, for a long time my closest friend and for a short time my partner.

This is me attempting to make up for the loss of her impact on the world, she honestly was the most selfless person I knew.
