Support my mullet to help prevent suicide

I’m making the big cut — taking my long hair and turning it into a mullet — for my brother Adrian, who we sadly lost in 2025.
Adrian loved the ocean, surfing, and his beautiful dog Sunny. Sunny was his shadow, his comfort, and his happiest companion. Their bond was something truly special.

But even with all that love around him, the Black Dog still got him.
That’s why I’m doing this — to honour Adrian, to speak openly about mental health, and to help others get support before the darkness becomes too heavy to carry.

By chopping in this mullet, I’m starting conversations that matter.
Thank you for supporting me, for honouring Adrian, and for helping keep his love — especially his love for Sunny — alive in the world.

1 in 5 Australians will experience mental illness in their lifetime. Over 75% of mental health problems occur before the age of 25.

My mullet and funds raised will help us drive real change and fund ground-breaking mental health research. This will put digital services and education into the hands of people who need it the most.

It would mean a lot to me if you donated to support my mullet.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

Amber you didn’t know me but I lived with Adrian and sunny for a few years before he moved back to New Zealand. We weren’t the best of friends but I cared for him and we kept in touch when he moved. I was so devastated to hear what had happened and I’m so happy that you are doing something in his honor that I can contribute to. Sending thoughts to you and your family. Adrian was full of spirit.

Was friends with Adrian in Sydney. Been thinking of him recently, I had no idea he passed. I helped take care of Sunny one Christmas while he went back home to New Zealand. I hope this donation can help. I’m so sorry for your loss. I know you’ll rock the mullet for him.
