Mini Mullets

Our why!

Today we spoke with our mum about our why - why are we raising awareness for men’s mental health? Well, we are young men who agree that it’s important we feel our feelings, understand our emotions and so we can express them safely. We want to encourage others to do the same. Men often experience shame when they express their vulnerability- we don’t want that to be the case. Our Grandad is a man who has challenges with his mental health and for a long time he was never taught how to navigate his headspace safely: we are doing this for our Grandad, and all the me before him. May we change the course they went on, so our sons and grandsons never face the same hardships as our forefathers πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ

Day 1

Our starting point for the month! We’ve both been to the barber to have fresh haircuts to start our journey.Β

Support our mullets to help prevent suicide

We're growing our mullets this April for Black Dog Institute's Mullets for Mental Health.

1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year. Over 75% of mental health problems occur before the age of 25.

Our mullets and funds raised will help us drive real change and fund ground-breaking mental health research. This will put digital services and education into the hands of people who need it the most.

It would mean a lot to us if you donated to support our mullets.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
