Prize Terms and Conditions 

Prizing and Rewards

  1. Reward recipients will be notified via a triggered email when they are eligible to claim a reward and are required to complete the claim form. BDI is not responsible for any emails that fail to be delivered to winners.
  2. All physical rewards will be delivered to the address provided by winners in the claim form. BDI is not responsible for guaranteeing delivery of any of the below physical rewards, including, but not limited to, where an address is incorrectly entered.
  3. If a prize/reward includes vouchers, the vouchers are only valid until the voucher expiry date specified on the voucher, and are subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the voucher supplier. Once awarded, BDI is not liable for any voucher that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. Vouchers cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash.

Milestone incentives

  1. Eligible Entrants who have signed up to be a registered participant of Mullets For Mental Health at https://www.mulletsformentalhealth.org.au and have successfully submitted their correct details as a part of their profile set up, including name and email address, may participate in reaching milestones.
  2. Reach your milestone fundraising targets, as outlined below, to receive the following rewards:
    1. Raise $250 – Exclusive Mullets for Mental Health or Mullets for Mental Health bucket hat (for Past Participants only)
      i) Past Participants are defined as 2025 registered participants who have at least one (1) previous completed registration across the 2020-2024 years.
    2. Raise $750 – Mullets for Mental Health party shirt.
      i)
      Badge of Honour returns can be carried out by contacting our support team by email mullets@blackdog.org.au. 
    3. Raise $1,000 – Exclusive Mullets for Mental Health merchandise reward item: This could include: Mullets for Mental Health Budgy Smugglers or Budgy Smuglettes, Mullets for Mental Health original hoodies, Mullets for Mental Health original t-shirts, Mullets for Mental Health Footy Shorts or bumbags. This can also include another Black Dog Institute branded merchandise item. 
  3. BDI may refuse to award any milestone incentive at its absolute discretion, including, but not limited to, if stock is not available.
  4. If we run out of stock of a merchandise item, the participant will be notified by email or phone and will receive an item of similar value. 

Competition Prize Draws

    • Registration Incentive – VIP Mullet Legend bumbag competition 
       

      1. The first 75 individuals to sign up to Mullets for Mental Health from launch on Monday, 20 January 2024 to 11:59pm AEST on Friday, 31 January 2025 (“Bumbag Competition Period”) will receive 1 of 75 Exclusive Mullet Legend Bumbags (“Bumbag Competition”). 
      • To be eligible to win 1 of 75 Exclusive Mullet Legend Bumbags, Mullets For Mental Health participants need to meet the conditions outlined below during the Bumbag Competition Period. 
      • The total reward value is AUD $446.25 (1 x winner, $5.95) Exclusive Mullet Legend Bumbags. 
      • Prize to winners to be announced on Friday, 14 February 2025. 
      • If eligible, you will automatically enter into this prize when you sign up to the Event during the Bumbag Competition Period. 
      • Winners will be automatically selected as the first 75 Eligible Entrants to register to the Event during the Bumbag Competition Period. 
      • Winners will be notified via their email address used when signing up within 7 days of the prize being drawn. BDI is not responsible for any emails that fail to be delivered to winners of the draw. 
      • Winners must respond to that email, confirming their details, within 7 days. If the prize is not claimed within this timeframe, it will be automatically given to the subsequent participant until the item is claimed. 

      To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Bumbag Competition Period: 

      • Sign up to be a registered participant of Mullets For Mental Health at https://www.mulletsformentalhealth.org.au; and  
      • Have raised at least $1,000 in a previous year of Mullets for Mental Health. 
      • Successfully submit their correct details as a part of their profile set up, including name and email address. Incomplete, illegible, or incorrect entries are invalid. Eligible Entrants can only enter the Bumbag Competition in their own name.   
         

      Registration Incentive – PlayStation 5 competition 

      1. Sign up between 12:01am AEDT on Monday, 20 January 2025 to 11:59pm AEDT on Friday, 28 February 2025 (“PlayStation 5 Competition Period”) to go into the draw to win 1 PlayStation 5 Slim Console (“PlayStation 5 Competition”). 
      • To be eligible in the draw to win 1 PlayStation 5 Slim Console, Mullets For Mental Health fundraisers need to meet the conditions outlined below during the PlayStation 5 Competition Period.   
      • The total prize value is AUD $679.00 (1 x winner, $679.00 per PlayStation 5).   
      • Prizes will be drawn on the week commencing Monday, 10 March 2025.  
      • If eligible, you will automatically enter into this prize draw when you sign up to the Event during the PlayStation 5 Competition Period.   
      • Winners will be notified via the email address used when signing up within 7 days of the prize being drawn. BDI is not responsible for any emails that fail to be delivered to winners of the draw.  
      • Winners must respond to that email, confirming their details, within 7 days. If the prize is not claimed within this timeframe, it will be redrawn.  

      To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the PlayStation 5 Competition Period: 

      • Be a returning registered participant having previously completed a Mullets For Mental Health registration in a previous year (2020-2024). 
      • Successfully submit their correct details as a part of their profile set up, including name and email address. Incomplete, illegible, or incorrect entries are invalid. Eligible Entrants can only enter the PlayStation 5 Competition in their own name.   
         

      Registration Incentive – General Weber BBQ Competition 

      1. Sign up between 12:01am AEDT on Monday, 20 January 2025 to 11:59pm AEDT on Monday, 31 March 2025 (“Weber BBQ Competition Period”) to go into the draw to win 1 of 3 Weber Baby Q Premium (Q1200N) Gas Barbecue (LPG) (“Weber BBQ Competition”). 
      • To be eligible in the draw to win 1 of 3 Weber Baby Q Premium (Q1200N) Gas Barbecue (LPG), Mullets For Mental Health fundraisers need to meet the conditions outlined below during the Weber Baby Q Premium (Q1200N) Gas Barbecue (LPG) 
      • Period.   
      • The total prize value is AUD $1,407 (3 x winners, $399 per Weber Baby Q Premium (Q1200N) Gas Barbecue (LPG). The colour selected for each Weber Baby Q Premium (Q1200N) Gas Barbecue (LPG) is selected at the discretion of BDI.   
      • Prizes will be drawn on the week commencing Tuesday, 15 April 2025.  
      • If eligible, you will automatically enter into this prize draw when you sign up to the Event during the Weber BBQ Competition Period.   
      • Winners will be notified via the email address used when signing up within 7 days of the prize being drawn. BDI is not responsible for any emails that fail to be delivered to winners of the draw.  
      • Winners must respond to that email, confirming their details, within 7 days. If the prize is not claimed within this timeframe, it will be redrawn.  

      To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Weber BBQ Competition Period:

      • Successfully submit their correct details as a part of their profile set up, including name and email address. Incomplete, illegible, or incorrect entries are invalid. Eligible Entrants can only enter the Weber BBQ Competition in their own name.   
         

       

      Fundraising Incentives – Self-Donation $25 competition 

      1. Self-donate $25.00 AUD or more to your individual fundraising page between 12:01am AEDT on Monday, 20 January 2025 to 11:59pm AEST on Monday 7 April 2025 (“Yeti Cooler Competition Period”) to go into the draw to win 1 of 3 Yeti Roadie 15 Hard Coolers (“Yeti Cooler Competition”). 
      • To be eligible in the draw to win 1 of 3 Yeti Roadie 15 Hard Coolers, Mullets For Mental Health participants need to meet the conditions during the Yeti Cooler Competition Period. 
      • The total Prize value is AUD $900 (3 x winners, $300.00 Yeti Roadie 15 Hard Cooler).    
      • Prizes will be drawn on the week commencing Tuesday, 22 April 2025.  
      • If eligible, you will automatically enter into this prize draw when you self-donate $25.00 AUD or more to your individual fundraising page during the Yeti Cooler Competition Period. 
      • Multiple entries are available for this competition, i.e. for every multiple of $25 self-donated, you will receive one (1) entry into the competition draw. 
      • Winners will be notified via the email address used when signing up within 7 days of the prize being drawn. BDI is not responsible for any emails that fail to be delivered to winners of the draw.  
      • Winners must respond to that email, confirming their details, within 7 days. If the prize is not claimed within this timeframe, it will be redrawn.  

      To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Yeti Cooler Competition Period:  

      • Successfully submit their correct details as a part of their profile set up, including name and email address. Incomplete, illegible, or incorrect entries are invalid. Eligible Entrants can only enter the Yeti Cooler Competition in their own name. 
         
         

      Fundraising Incentives – Receive a $52 Donation 

      1. Receive a donation of $52.00 AUD or more to your individual fundraising page between 12:01am AEST on Thursday, 24 April 2025 to 11:59pm AEST on Wednesday 30 April 2025 (“Nintendo Switch Competition Period”) to go into the draw to win 1 of 2 Nintendo Switch Neon Consoles. (“Nintendo Switch Neon Console Competition”). 
      • To be eligible in the draw to win 1 of 2 x Nintendo Switch Neon Consoles, Mullets For Mental Health participants need to meet the conditions during the Nintendo Switch Console Competition Period. 
      • The total Prize value is AUD $938 (1 x entry, 2 x winners, $469.00 per Nintendo Switch Neon Console).    
      • Prizes will be drawn on the week commencing, Monday 5 May 2025.  
      • You will automatically enter into this prize draw when you receive a donation of at least $52.00 during the Nintendo Switch Console Competition Period.  
      • Multiple entries are available for this competition, i.e. for every multiple of $52 donated, you will receive one (1) entry into the competition draw. 
      • Winning participants will be notified via the email address used when signing up within 7 days of the prize being drawn. BDI is not responsible for any emails that fail to be delivered to winners of the draw.  
      • Winners must respond to that email, confirming their details, within 7 days. If the prize is not claimed within this timeframe, it will be redrawn.  

      To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Nintendo Switch Competition Period:

      • Successfully submit their correct details as a part of their profile set up, including name and email address. Incomplete, illegible, or incorrect entries are invalid. Eligible Entrants can only enter the Nintendo Switch Console Competition Period in their own name 

       

      Fundraising Incentive – V8 Supercars Sydney 500 GA Pass Competition
    1. Receive a donation of $25.00 AUD or more to your fundraising page between 12:01am AEDT on Tuesday 18th February 2025 to 11:59pm AEDT on Wednesday 19th February 2025 (“V8 Supercars Sydney 500 General Admission Pass Competition”) to go into the draw to win 2 of 20 3-day General Admission passes to the Sydney 500 on February 21-23 2025 (“V8 Supercars Sydney 500 General Admission Pass Competition”).
    • To be eligible in the draw to win 2x Sydney 500 General Admission (GA) passes, Mullets For Mental Health participants need to meet the conditions during the V8 Supercars Sydney 500 General Admission Pass Competition.
    • The total Prize value is AUD $2,540 (10 x winners, $254.00 per double GA pass).
    • Prizes will be drawn on the week commencing Monday, 17 February 2025.
    • Participants will automatically enter into this prize draw when they receive a donation of $25.00 AUD or more to their fundraising page during the V8 Supercars Sydney 500 General Admission Pass Competition Period.
    • Qualifying Participants may be eligible for multiple entries:
      • Entry for every donation of $25.00 AUD to a participant’s fundraising page during the Competition Period. Therefore, if an individual donates $100.00 AUD, they would receive five (4) entries into the competition draw.
    • Winners will be notified via the phone/email address used when signing up within 1 day of the prize being drawn. BDI is not responsible for any emails that fail to be delivered to winners of the draw.
    • Winners must respond to that email, confirming their details, within 1 day. If the prize is not claimed within this timeframe, it will be redrawn.
