Support my mullet to help prevent suicide

Howdy my name is Sam! I'm growing a mullet to raise money to support mental health research.

9 people die a day in Australia due to suicide.

Anxiety has affected my life from as early as I can remember. Everything that a kid should tackle, would shatter me. Something as small as a mushroom in a bush meters away... would send me into a spiral leading to a meltdown. I wasn't a kid that "looked anxious". I was loud, I was confident, and I certainty wasn't shy. As I grew, the assumption that I wasn't an anxious person followed me just because I can be a "social butterfly". I became a statistic so young in my life and basically kept collecting them like Pokémon.

As I grew, my head became (and still is) my biggest enemy. I fell into deep depressions. One statistic that stood by me was the suicide rate of TGD folk.

The world is filling with more and more hate.  Waking up and seeing your rights being debated constantly is TIRING. 

All of this and more is why I am and will continue to for as long as I can be growing a mullet for mental health.

This is for those that fight the silent battles. This is for all my trans and gender diverse mates. This if for those in my life I've lost to suicide.
